— Why Families & Teachers Love MindMOPOLY™ —

Turning Meltdowns Into Playful Growth

Learning Through Play

A board game that sneaks in emotional skills while kids are having fun.

CBT & SEL Inspired

Backed by proven techniques like Zones of Regulation & cognitive strategies.

40+ Calm & 30+ Challenge Cards

Real-life coping tools and prompts kids can actually use when feelings get big.

Confidence That Lasts

Kids collect Calm Coins, practice choices, and learn resilience with every round.

What ages is MindMOPOLY™ best for?

The game is designed for children ages 3–14. Younger kids (3–6) enjoy naming feelings and acting out coping cards, while older kids (7–14) engage with reflection questions, challenges, and Calm Coin strategy. It’s flexible enough to grow with your child.

Is this a physical game or digital download?

MindMOPOLY™ is a digital PDF download. That means you can print it instantly at home or at a local print shop — no waiting, no shipping fees. Once you own it, you can reprint as many times as you need for multiple children, classes, or therapy clients.

How long does it take to play?

A typical round takes about 25–30 minutes with 2–6 players. You can make it shorter or longer by adjusting the number of rounds or skipping certain steps.

How does it actually help kids with big feelings?

Instead of lectures or worksheets, MindMOPOLY™ uses play-based learning. Each square, card, and coin introduces coping strategies, reflection questions, or emotion vocabulary. Kids practice regulation in real time — so the skills stick.

What’s included in the download?

You’ll get everything you need to play:

🎲 Printable game board
💌 Instruction sheet
💰 Calm Coins
💬 Feeling Properties & prompts
🃏 40+ Calm Cards & 30+ Challenge Cards
👾 Boss & Meltdown Mode for added fun
🎯 Zones of Regulation starter guide

Do I need special materials to play?

Just print the PDFs (cardstock or laminating recommended for durability), grab scissors or a paper cutter for the cards, and use the included printable dice & tokens (or any dice you have at home). That’s it!

Can teachers and therapists use this in groups?

Yes! MindMOPOLY™ was created for families, classrooms, and therapy sessions. It works in small groups (2–6 players) and is especially effective in SEL groups, counseling, or calm corners.

Is it suitable for neurodiverse kids (ADHD, autism, anxiety)?

Absolutely. MindMOPOLY™ was designed with neurodiverse learners in mind. The activities are flexible, sensory-friendly, and encourage self-awareness without pressure. Parents and therapists of ADHD & ASD kids especially love it.

I thought teaching coping skills would be a battle. Turns out, it was game night.

Instead of worksheets and lectures, MindMopoly™ turns emotional regulation into play — and my kids actually ask to use it.

“It was another afternoon meltdown — slammed doors, shouting, tears. I felt helpless, like nothing I tried ever stuck.

Then we tried MindMopoly™.

Instead of fighting me, my kids were laughing, rolling dice, and practicing coping skills without even realizing it.

For the first time, I didn’t feel like the bad guy. I felt like we were on the same team.”

🎲 It’s Not Just You — Teaching Coping Skills Is Hard

Tired mom sitting on the floor after a hard morning

I know because I get messages like this every day:

💬

“My child melts down during homework time — nothing I say gets through.”

💬

“I’m so tired of every transition turning into a fight.”

💬

“My 8-year-old shuts down the moment I try to ‘teach’ coping skills.”

💬

“I wish I could make emotional skills stick without another lecture or worksheet.”

You’re not broken. You’re not a bad mom.

🧠 Here’s What Nobody Tells You About Emotional Learning

Child upset while parent looks overwhelmed

When kids are overwhelmed, lectures and “use your words” don’t stick. Their brain needs experience, not explanations. That’s why games like MindMopoly™ work so well — they teach coping skills in the moment, when the nervous system is calm and open to learning.

🧩
Logic? Not yet.

Kids can’t absorb big lessons when stress is high.

📕
Lectures? Nope.

They need practice, not speeches.

🎁
Charts & Rewards? Short-lived.

External systems fade fast.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 20+ years of experience • Mom of 2

👋 Hi, I’m Amanda. Former teacher, mom of 2, spent 20 years helping other people’s kids handle their emotions.

💥 But when MY son melted down? I froze. Every. Time.

🧩 All my training meant nothing when we both fell apart. I realized we needed a lifeline, not another lecture.
